Introduction

Chemical composition

Oleic acid diethanolamide is chemically synthesized from imported oleic acid and diethanolamine. It is also known as oleic acid diethanolamine and N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl)oleic acid amide.

Performance and use

It is a widely used non-ionic oil-soluble surfactant, used as an oil additive, antistatic agent and anti-friction agent for polymer materials, anti-rust dispersant for boiler cleaning agents, and oil-in-water emulsifier for hard surface cleaning agents.

Dispersible in water and soluble in general organic solvents. It has good emulsification, antistatic, anti-fogging, anti-friction properties, excellent diffusibility and anti-rust properties, and is stable to salt. It has excellent calcium and magnesium dispersibility.

As a lubricant, rust inhibitor, and anti-wear agent, it is widely used in the metal processing industry (oil).

As a lubricant and antistatic agent, it is widely used in resins, fibers and other fields.

Synthetic lubrication industry: Added to mineral oil, it can improve the dispersion effect of various synthetic greases in oil.

Ink, paint and coating industry: used as an effective dispersant for pigments.

Metal corrosion inhibition: It has a certain rust prevention effect. It is used in compound corrosion inhibitors to improve the dispersion effect of other corrosion inhibitors in oil and metal surfaces.

Organic synthesis: In solid/liquid (organic solvent) reactions, adding this product can make the solid phase well dispersed and significantly reduce the feed ratio of solid raw materials.

Rubber industry: It can be used as a dispersed nanometer. According to foreign patent reports, as a dispersant in the rubber mixing process, adding 1.2% oleic acid diethanolamide as a dispersant can increase the dispersion of carbon black from 63% to 94%. The elastic modulus, tensile strength and anti-wear index of the product are increased from 14MPa, 28MPa and 12.7MPa to 17.5MPa, 28.6MPa and 14.5MPa respectively.

As a detergent, it is widely used in industrial cleaning, household washing, chemical fiber textile, leather and personal care products.

As a foam stabilizer, thickener and antistatic agent, it is used in the field of personal care products. It has a particularly significant thickening effect on cationic surfactant solutions. Adding

0.5% oleic acid diethanolamide, octadecyl trimethyl chloride aqueous solution can increase the viscosity from 260mm2/s to 790mm2/s.

Compounded with fatty acids, it can improve the adhesion of asphalt products.
