Performance and Use

Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B does not contain phosphorus. It can greatly reduce sewage treatment costs in areas with strict requirements on phosphorus discharge in sewage. Since it does not contain phosphorus, it reduces the reproduction of microorganisms in the circulating water system and reduces the amount of bactericides, algaecides and slime strippers.

Note 1: Category A scale inhibitors can be used in stainless steel pipe and titanium pipe circulating cooling water treatment systems, and can also be used in carbon steel pipe ash flushing water systems.
Note 2: Category B scale inhibitors can be used in steel pipe circulating cooling water treatment systems.
Note 3: Category C scale inhibitors can be used in copper pipe circulating cooling water treatment systems that require a higher azole content.
Phosphonate content greater than 6.8% is a phosphine-containing scale inhibitor; phosphonate content of 2.0% to 6.8% is a low-phosphine scale inhibitor; phosphonate content less than 2.0% is a phosphine-free scale inhibitor. When necessary, refer to GB/T 20778 to analyze the biodegradability of scale inhibitors.

How to Use

(1) Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B is used at a concentration of 30 mg/l. It has a good corrosion inhibition effect on water with a total hardness of 100 mg/l and a total alkalinity of 100 mg/l, such as the water in the Yangtze River system. The corrosion rate of carbon steel is less than 0.075 mm/a.

(2) Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B is used at a concentration of 30 mg/l. It has a good corrosion inhibition effect on water with a total hardness of 300 mg/l, a total alkalinity of 200 mg/l, and a chloride ion content greater than 300 mg/l. The corrosion rate of carbon steel is less than 0.075 mm/a.

(3) Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B is used at a concentration of 60 mg/l. It has a good corrosion inhibition effect on ultra-low hardness water conditions such as the Minjiang River system, with a total hardness of 50 mg/l and a total alkalinity of 50 mg/l.

(4) When using only Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B, the optimal concentration is: 40-60 mg/l.

Packaging and storage

Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B is packaged in plastic barrels, 25kg per barrel or as determined by the user. The storage period is twelve months.

Safety and protection

Phosphorus-free antiscalant (inhibitor) MC 700-B is acidic. Wear glasses and gloves when operating it to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse with plenty of water after contact.
