STD-28 coking inhibitor can change the physical form of coke by forming a special chemical substance to passivate the metal surface, thereby inhibiting the catalytic effect of metal ions (catalytic coking effect), making the coke fragile and loose, and easy to peel off and clean. Some components in the coking inhibitor STD-28 can bond with the metal to form a dense and firm gray-green protective layer, which can reduce the coking rate for a period of time. Once the injection of the agent is stopped, the coking rate will begin to rise for a period of time. The temporary nature of this effect requires that the additive should be continuously injected into the reaction system when using it to achieve the effect of continuously inhibiting coking.
The appearance of the agent is a light yellow to dark brown liquid, with low toxicity, non-flammable and non-explosive. It is irritating to the human body, but will not have side effects on the cracking furnace tubes. The agent does not contain halogens and heavy metal elements, and will not have side effects on the catalyst of the subsequent system.
This additive is mainly used in ethylene units. It prevents carburization and prevents the formation of coke by passivating the active metal on the surface of the cracking furnace tube, improving the heat transfer rate and selectivity of the cracking furnace, and extending the operation cycle of the cracking furnace.
1. Adding point and adding method: Select the feed pump inlet (liquid phase) and the filling drainage duct to disperse the additive droplets in the gas phase feed. The adding method is continuous injection.
2. Adding amount: The adding amount is based on the feed amount of cracking furnace naphtha, ethane, propane, and hydrogenation tail oil, and is selected at about 150μgg. It is recommended to add about 300pg/g and run for about 48h before formal feeding so that the additive can be adsorbed on the surface of the furnace tube to passivate the metal ions on the surface of the furnace tube and inhibit the catalytic effect of the metal ions, and then reduce the addition amount to about 150pg/g when formally feeding.
3. This additive can be added to the system evenly and continuously with a plunger metering pump
This additive uses a 1000L special packaging barrel with a net weight of 1000KG.
Store in a cool and low temperature place, avoid contact with fire or heat sources. In case of fire, dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher can be used to extinguish the fire.
