STD N-formylmorpholine (NFM for short) is an important organic solvent and fine chemical raw material. STD N-formylmorpholine is an excellent extraction solvent for the preparation of aromatic hydrocarbons.
It is a colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature. It has the chemical properties of amides. Its aqueous solution is easily hydrolyzed into morpholine and formic acid in the presence of acid or alkali, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline.
After dissolving aromatic hydrocarbons, STD N-formylmorpholine can greatly reduce the volatility of aromatic hydrocarbons and improve the separation coefficient between hydrocarbons and non-aromatic hydrocarbons. Therefore, it is widely used in the extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons (such as toluene, xylene, etc.) and paraffin hydrocarbons butene, methyl ethyl ketone and other processes. It can make the purity of refined benzene as high as 99.99%, the purity of toluene as high as 99.7%, and the purity of xylene as high as 99.0%. In addition, the solvent consumption is low and no pH regulator needs to be added. It has outstanding advantages such as no corrosion to equipment, energy saving, and low environmental pollution.
1. The adding part should be based on the requirements of the system to ensure that the additive and the process medium are fully mixed when entering the equipment;
2. The general adding amount varies according to the production situation of different customers’ products. Observe the effect during the production process and adjust the amount to determine the optimal amount.
This additive is packaged in a plastic-lined iron barrel or plastic barrel with a net weight of 170 ± 0.5 kg.
Store in a cool and low temperature place, avoid contact with fire or heat sources. In case of fire, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
